## Tips

- Take the time to savor the flavor of one of these special treats that can be included in a balanced diet on occasion.
- Keep cookie pops refrigerated.
- Omit lollipop sticks and substitute melted red candy coating wafers for the green candy coating wafers. Prepare cream cheese mixture and shape into triangles as directed. Dip in melted red candy coating. Add white nonpareils to bottom edges of triangles and small white candies to top points of triangles to resemble Santa hats.
- Prepare using white candy coating wafers and/or decorating with assorted colored sugar crystals. Or, omit the sprinkles and use decorating icing to decorate the candy-coated trees.
- If coating becomes too thick to coat the cookie pops, add up to 2 tsp. shortening to the melted candy coating wafers before using to coat the cookie pops.
